Não há nada estranho nesta frase.
Quando eu traduzi o primeiro Resident Evil, lá pelo início dos anos 2000, optei por traduzir "There's nothing strange here" como "Não há nada estranho aqui". Depois fiquei com a sensação de que deveria corrigir tudo, já que pela lógica, se não há nada, quer dizer que há alguma coisa. Uma negativa anula a outra. Assim como na fórmula matemática, (-) + (-) = (+). Porém, acabei deixando pra lá esse assunto controverso.
Os anos passaram, as coisas mudaram na nossa língua - tiraram os tremas, alguns acentos e etc - porém a minha dúvida permanecia: Devo corrigir?
Hoje resolvi pesquisar e encontrei dois artigos que falam sobre isso. O primeiro, de um professor de português lá de Portugal chamado Marco Neves [certaspalavras.pt] onde ele diz que chega a ser feio quando tentamos escrever "Há nada errado". Que apesar de correto, a outra forma não deve ser descartada e é até mais bonita visualmente.
Outro site que cita o tema é o ciberduvidas.iscte-iul.pt/. Este é ainda mais incisivo ao colocar que idiomas como o latim e o inglês são mais rígidos com este caso, mas o português, assim como o romeno e o francês, permite duas negativas para construir uma mais completa.
Sendo assim, até que seja convencido do contrário, não há nada estranho em deixar nossa tradução assim! : )
