Descer as escadas contando os passos e acertando os pés. É um ritual dos melhores e mais gostosos pra iniciar o dia. Adentrar o ambiente de trabalho ainda com a cara amarrada [não por mau humor e sim de sono, mesmo] e sentar em minha mesa. Sentir o ar fresco da manhã ao abrir a janela da grande porta de metal da entrada do escritório. Ligar o computador e perceber maravilhado, mesmo depois de tanto tempo, a velocidade do SSD em ação, mostrando a tela de entrada do Windows 10 em poucos segundos. Em dias corridos ou dias de alta densidade de trabalho, o dia se inicia e só vai parar perto das 18h [às vezes passa disso]. Porém, há dias que minha mente não está conectada à rotina profissional. Posso abrir o Flag's Mind, o Notepad++, o ALF ou simplesmente o Google Chrome mas nada - NADA - de interessante se cria sem inspiração, sem motivação ou simplesmente sem vontade, mesmo. E normalmente é neste momento que um outro ritual se inicia...
Ofereço à uma das pessoas mais incríveis do mundo, que senta à minha frente, um chá [que ela preparou antes de virmos, claro, pq ela é incrível MESMO]. Encho as duas xícaras e tomo o primeiro gole que, normalmente, desce queimando. O ponteiro do mouse segue diretamente ao ícone de quadrado branco com retas transpostas em cinza escuro, chamado Unity Hub. O próximo clique é seco e direto: "Rebecca's Way v3".
Enquanto o projeto carrega, já pego meu [na verdade dela] caderno do Harry Potter onde iniciei as primeiras anotações da terceira versão do roteiro de Resident Evil: Rebecca's Way. A caneta preta que borra toda a parte de trás da folha utilizada, a folha A4 por debaixo da página a ser riscada, a unidade de DVD-R que utilizarei tão logo pare de mexer no projeto para realizar o importantíssimo backup e, claro, minha xícara dada de presente pelo meu filho - sempre - com chá dentro. Esse é meu kit de trabalho e é nele que passarei, provavelmente, o dia todo trabalhando.
O Rebecca's Way não é só um projeto de jogo novo. Não é só um MOD de Resident Evil. Não é só um passatempo e - principalmente - não é só uma busca por reconhecimento. Eu já fiz um jogo novo, eu já fiz um MOD de Resident Evil, eu já tenho vários passatempos e já tive reconhecimento. Hoje, tudo o que eu faço no CT-STARS é por prazer. É por bem estar. E é por amor.
E todas as coisas boas que escrevi aqui neste texto, Deus queira e permita que continue assim. São elas que me fazem o que sou hoje. E são elas que fazem o meu dia verdadeiro!
